Shipwreck Coast

The Shipwreck Coast is a 130-kilometre stretch of rugged and dramatic coastline in southwest Victoria, stretching from Cape Otway to Port Fairy. Famous for its wild seas, cold Antarctic winds, and towering limestone cliffs, it earned its name after claiming the lives of hundreds of sailing ships and steamers during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
